Luke experienced a stroke from a rare condition called an AVM.  AVM stands for Arteriovenous Malformation in the brain. Luke was working in San Francisco when the event occurred and was quickly transported to SF General Hospital.  After undergoing a series of surgeries to treat and remove the AVM Luke is in stable condition but his recovery and rehabilitation are ongoing.  He is getting stronger but still has limited mobility in his left arm and leg. Next steps for Luke include transferring to an inpatient rehabilitation facility before he can return home.

The goal of the fund is to provide assistance for medical costs and provide financial support to Luke's family during this time of need until he gets back on his feet.
