Luke Lang's Cancer Eviction

Luke Lang, a self-described friend of God, lover of people, husband, dad, grandpa, soul pirate, tattooed wild word slinger, cartoonist, proclaimer of hope and purveyor of joy, is facing a huge fight against a belly bully. After experiencing persistent pain, Luke scheduled a physical in late June. His primary doctor had some concerns about some sketchy masses in his belly. He ignored Luke's suggestion that it was probably just the tacos he had eaten the night before and sent Luke for tests. Doctors discovered multiple tumors. A biopsy on July 5, 2018 revealed he has Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He will receive chemotherapy and steroid treatments for 18 weeks.
As the middle school pastor at Grace Covenant Church, he leads a dynamic ministry team engaging 100's of students weekly. Thousands of students have been discipled and empowered to reach their God-given potential under his leadership. My children have been eternally impacted through his love, friendship, and ministry! He is a gifted writer who offers hope and encouragement through his social media posts and blog. He has authored two books: Soul Pirate Handbook and I AM Standing Up: True Confessions of a Total Freak of Nature.
