They do this through helplines and professional support so that it is easy to speak to someone about any problems one might have or concerns about their mental state.
The money we raise will go to funding this help and supporting people realise they are not alone.
I am running the marathon on 6th January 2018 in the Sir Titus Trot race and so all money needs to be raised before the race and it will be donated after I finish (should be around 3h40m).
1/4 people have a mental health problem in the UK and I would be extremely surprised if you don't know anyone in your direct family or your friends who has an issue. It is something that affects us all in one way or another and so something all of us can relate to and therefore choose as a worthy cause for donation.
It is an awesome cause everyone can relate to and I think by putting in all the hours of training and hard work on the day then I can offer my time and resources along with everyone's support; we can make something really exciting happen.
I am going for quite a quick 3h30m which is not easy in the slightest so we will have to see what happens but training hard so wish me luck :)
