Luke Ramos Accident Recovery
Donation protected
Our best mate Luke came off his bike on Thursday 24 November 2022 where he suffered critical head/brain injuries. He was airlifted to the hospital, operated on by a neurosurgeon, then placed on life support and still remains in a coma. The following day they had to remove a piece of his skull to relieve the pressure that was building.
He also has a small C3 spinal fracture as well as rib and collarbone fractures.
Although being a fit and healthy 16 year old, Lukes future is still unknown. He will have months, possibly years on his journey, and we do not yet know what this will look like because he is still in a coma. Whilst we hope and pray for a full recovery that will include some wicked scars, he may be left with life changing conditions. Will he have full function? They don't know. Will he be able to work again? They don't know.
The photo attached are just a few of the many machines that Luke is attached to. We respect the privacy of both Luke and his family to not share more intimate photo's.
Lukes parents Jo and Christian spend every possible minute with him and are very welcoming of positive messages for Luke. We send our love to them and their family through this time.
We have started this fund to help with anything that is needed in the coming months. It will be a long and very hard time. We have set it up so that the funds will go directly to his mum Jo.
Please pray for Luke. We will try to give updates as time goes on.
As you can appreciate, this is scary and hearbreaking for all of Lukes family and friends. Any amount that you can spare, no matter how small, will make a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
