Luke Mazzer, taken far too soon.

March 13 was a normal Thursday and, being an extremely hard working man, Luke got up at 4am to get ready for work..

He kissed Lauren, his partner of 16 years goodbye and they told each other "Love you, have a good day"..

At 11:25 that morning Lauren got the call that would change her and her family's forever. Luke had been in an accident at work.

Luke had suffered a severe unexpected asthma attack which resulted in him having 2 cardiac arrests, The paramedics worked on Luke for 40 minutes until he was stable enough to be transferred via ambulance to hospital.

Upon arriving at hospital Luke was placed on life support in intensive care where he remained in critical condition.

Luke fought as hard as he could. His heart just wasn't strong enough to keep going and there was no more the Drs could do.

Luke tragically passed early Saturday morning surrounded by loved ones.

This tragedy has understandably hit Lauren, his children & his family extremely hard and they are all beside themselves, especially Lauren who is not coping well at all. The future is overwhelming. She is facing the huge task ahead of not only financially providing for but emotionally supporting the family she and Luke created - Brianna 14, twins Shayla and Indie 11, Ava 10 and Luke's little man Caiden, who's only just turned 6.

Luke was provider, emotional rock, parent and best frend to his family and his empty place can never be filled. However, we can help Lauren overcome some of the immediate challenges created by the tragic death.
