Luke Robert Labarga
Resident of Vacaville
May 10, 2000 – December 11, 2016
Luke Robert Labarga was born in Vacaville, CA and spent much of his time exploring every nook and cranny of the outdoors that he could find. His deep love for nature, country music, hunting, and fishing were apparent to his family and friends. He was never more enthusiastic than when telling others about his latest adventures in the outdoors, and his excitement about such matters was infectious to any listener. Above all, his loved ones remember his kind and gentle heart, something that was most evident in his compassion and care for animals.
Luke is survived by several family members and friends: his loving mom and dad, Kelly and Mike; his brothers, Kory and Kyle; his grandmothers, Judy and Aracelis; his aunt and uncle, Dana and Jay; his cousin, Josh; his sister-in-law, Anna; his two nephews, Grason and Rylan; and his best friend, Isaak. He is survived by many other adoring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Luke is preceded by his grandfathers, Bob and Arturo, and his cousin, Amber. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing Luke will deeply miss his caring heart and his zeal for the beauty of the natural world.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Luke’s life on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St, Vacaville. Memorial donations will go to various wildlife preservation organizations and the SPCA.
