Luke Kearney Scholarship Fundraiser

The International Studies and Business University Program (Class of 2015) has come together to create a scholarship in honor of our dear friend, Luke Kearney.

In 2021, Luke — a bright light in the lives of so many — was tragically and unexpectedly taken from us as a result of a heart condition. It is a pain that will always remain with us.

To us, “Mayor Luke” was more than just a classmate or childhood friend. He was a brilliant mind, trustworthy confidante, generous soul, uplifting spirit, and hilarious companion, both intentionally and unintentionally. Civically, he was always engaged (evidenced by his history major) and professionally, his potential was staggering. Luke was truly a force for good in the world and his legacy of kindness, friendship, and selflessness must live on.

In his honor, we will be selecting one Indian Hills ISB UP student per year to receive the annual Luke Kearney Memorial Scholarship. Like Luke, this student must reflect the highest order of academic achievement, significant extracurricular involvement, and outstanding personal integrity.

Please consider donating to help us raise money for the Luke Kearney Memorial Scholarship. All proceeds will go directly towards establishing the scholarship, which we plan to provide annually for years to come . The ISB UP Class of 2015 is tremendously grateful for the support.
