Funeral costs Luke Jan Nigli; Beloved Son, Brother & Friend

Hello, My name is Noel, the younger brother of Luke Nigli.

My family and I are reaching out for support to help alleviate some of the costs related to Luke's funeral. Luke, was not just a son and an older brother, but also a cherished friend to many. His sudden departure has left a void in our lives that words cannot describe. Luke was a man of kindness, always ready to extend a helping hand and bring a smile to the faces of those around him. His caring nature, boundless love, and infectious laughter touched the hearts of everyone he met. Luke, a dedicated member of the Toronto police, was not only diligent in his work but also cherished spending quality time with our family. Whether it was outings to beaches or enjoying meals at local restaurants, he always made sure to create lasting memories with us.

On June 7th, at midnight, we received distressing news that Luke had been admitted to the ICU at Sunnybrook Hospital, unconscious and on a ventilator. With disbelief and shock, we rushed to his side. Sadly, Luke passed away in the ICU on Sunday, June 9th, around 10:30 am. He suffered from multiple organ failure and had been placed in a medically induced coma following a sudden cardiac arrest.

His untimely departure has left us devastated, especially considering his young age and good health. Luke was on the verge of celebrating his 30th birthday on June 19th. While we understand that times are difficult for everyone, we are reaching out for support as the funeral expenses are not covered. Providing a fitting farewell for our beloved Luke is our utmost priority, and any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, and may blessings be upon you all.
