Luke Hansen's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
While snowboarding at Big Sky Resort on March 4th with friends and family, Luke Hansen had a severe accident that caused instantaneous loss of feeling and movement from his neck down. Luke has undergone surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital in Billings, MT, to repair his C6 vertebrae that burst in the accident and fuse it to his C5 & C7 vertebrae. After spending over three weeks in the ICU, he has regained some feeling in his shoulders and arms. Luke was flown home on a medical transport plane on March 30th and is continuing his recovery in Seattle, WA, at Harborview Medical Center’s SCI Rehab. He hopes to continue progressing daily with a positive go-get-it attitude that Luke has carried throughout his life.
Moving forward, any prayers for his recovery and any financial help are welcome for the expenses and challenges ahead. This tragic accident to a respectful, friendly and hard working young man has undoubtedly put some challenges ahead for Luke and his family. With the help and prayers of his family and friends, he will be stronger than ever someday soon.
Thank you for your Prayers and Consideration!
