Fire Relief for Luke, home and coop

Donation protected

On Tuesday evening (February 16th), my cousin Luke found his home engulfed in flames. At the time of the fire, he was buying his one-year-old son diapers and got a phone call that his house was up in smoke. Thankfully, Luke and his son were not home when it burned, but his roommate was able to evacuate safely. Unfortunately, his chicken and rabbit coop burned with all animals inside and his dog lost her life this Wednesday morning due to complications.

Luke has been on his own since he was a young teen, he’s had a hard life but continues to help others. He is the most hardworking and caring person I know. To make matters worse, Luke does not have renter’s insurance and so he lost everything but the clothes on his back. He is a construction worker and lost all of his tools, clothes, furniture—everything. Anyone who knows Luke knows that he would do anything for anyone, not expecting anything in return. Luke is never one to ask for help and prefers to be the helper. It’s time like this when we need our friends, family, and community to lean on. Help us raise funds to help Luke in his time of need!

We know that covid is affecting us all in challenging ways, finances included—so whatever you're able to contribute is deeply appreciated. Please consider sharing this with your circle of friends and family!
