Root For Luke

The Backstory

This page was created for our son and little brother, Lucas Burnham.  This past July Luke noticed a lump in his neck and in August, after several weeks of doctors’ appointments, PET scans, (2) surgical biopsies, a heart and lung scan, and a bone marrow biopsy, Luke was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  This is a devastating diagnosis for Luke, his girlfriend Christina, and our entire family.  Christina has been his rock and has been beside him every step of the way.

The Costs

Luke has a tough road ahead as he is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments which has made it challenging for him to continue working at his longtime job at Greenmount Station restaurant as well as his landscaping business. He and Christinaare working hard to make ends meet.

How You Can Help

As some of you will know, Luke is very hesitant to ask for any outside support.  So we, his family, are asking for a little boost along the way.  We know how strong, determined, and resilient Luke is; he is going to get through this!  But, we need Luke to focus completely on his recovery, so any amount you can spare to bridge this gap and assist with his living and medical expenses would mean so much.
