The morning of 2/7/2018, at around 3:20 am Luke Farrington lost his battle with cancer. He fought it so hard. You will be missed my brother. I love you so much. Rest in peace.
Luke Adam Farrington, loving father, son, brother and friend. In October of 2017, he went to the ER with stomach pains, thinking it was probably a bruised rib or something similar. Testing showed he had tumors on his kidney and brain. The kidney tumor was the size of a softball and would be removed in November of 2017. After removing the kidney, doctors believed him to be in good condition, as the other tumors were not cancerous. Luke started chemo and radiation believing everything to be fine since biopsies showed negative on testing. In January of 2018 he was suffering again from stomach pains, so he went to the ER to be checked out. Testing showed Luke to have stage 4 terminal cancer throughout all of his major organs. Now, there is no medical treatment that is believed to be available other than to alleviate the pain symptoms. Luke has two children, Kaylee his daughter is 13 and Adam (named after Luke) is 11. Luke is divorced and currently lives with his parents to make it easier during these last stages. Luke is unable to work and has no income available. Darlene and Rex Farrington, Luke's parents, are on disability and on a fixed income. Funding for the medical and funeral planning has forced a huge burden upon his family. If you can donate anything, it will be greatly appreciated. Our goal is $12,500 to cover funeral expenses. Luke is an amazing man who has been dealt a losing hand. Please help if you are able to. Prayers obviously are appreciated.
