Luke & Erica Decker's Adoption Story
Donation protected
Hi All,
Thanks for everyone’s attention for a brief moment. Hope you’re all doing great as we wind down the year.
For those of you who don’t know, I hired a new Business Development Specialist named Luke Decker a few months ago, and I can honestly say that I would be hard pressed to find someone who better fits each of our core values. He has a big personality that new & existing customers love, and he’s done a great job of earning a ton of new business already since he started!
I’m telling you all about him because he’s inspiring me on a personal level with something he and his wife are going through with the adoption of their first child. He hasn’t shed too much light on the overall process, other than a singular occasion when he referenced how nervous he was because of the expected cost of adoption. They’ve worked tirelessly with their community to get financial aid by fundraising with local businesses in the Fort Wayne area, who were willing to split some profits on their behalf. As a father of 4, it struck a nerve with me since this should be one of the most exciting times for him, and he’s out there hustling to make sure they achieve their goal. He and his wife Erica just recently raised enough money (by selling branded t-shirts to his community) to pay for the first step of the process, the Homestudy.
In the spirit of earnestness, and the season of giving, I was hoping I can count on you all to help achieve a goal that the Corporate Partnerships team has come up with. With the help of all of Institutions, along with the collaborative efforts with you all, we’re hoping to be able to provide $2,000 to Luke & Erica after the new year comes.
Thank you all for the read, and we appreciate any offering your able to give.
The Corporate Partnerships Team.
