Hi, I’m a close friend of Luke and his family. I’ve created this fundraiser to help support them through the unimaginable loss of Luke, and to try and ease some of the financial stress during this heartbreaking time.

On April 1st, Luke tragically lost his life in a fatal traffic accident in the Pioneer Valley near Mackay. His passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Luke had such a big, kind heart and lived life to the fullest. He was always the first person there for others, no questions asked. He loved being outdoors — 4WDing, camping, and fishing were some of his favourite things. He especially loved trying to outfish his dad whenever they went chasing barra. He had a way of bringing people together, always making others laugh, and was the life of every gathering.

We are hoping to raise funds to support his family with funeral costs and give Luke the send-off he deserves, while allowing his loved ones the space to grieve.
