Lukas's Journey: A Son's Unwavering Care

Hi friends. My name is Susan and I am trying to raise funds for my dear friend's son. Over the years I have asked many of my friends to pray for my friend Christine, who was diagnosed with colon cancer 10 years ago. Her son, Lukas, now 24, has taken care of her in ways no young boy should have to. But being a one parent household, he wasn't given much of a choice. He just did what he had to do. Things I don't think you or I could do. Never complaining. Lukas is autistic. Christine was told when he was 2 that he would never speak or thrive. She did not accept that diagnosis, quit college, and dedicated herself to researching Lukas' diagnosis, and to a life raising her son the best, healthiest way she could. He graduated 2 years of college last year. He is truly the greatest accomplishment of her life. Over the past 10 years Christine has suffered unspeakable health issues that have brought her to her knees. Sadly, that journey is coming to an end. Lukas will be left alone, with very little funds or income to take care of himself. I am asking if you have any amount to spare that you donate to Lukas. He is a wonderful young man who has lived through a horrible situation since he was a young teen.
