Hi everyone, our names are Dallin and Brittany and we are Lukas’s parents.

Lukas is a special 6 month old baby who is in desperate need of a helmet to correct his head shape. Lukas has a cleft lip and palate and due to that he needed a NG Feeding Tube since birth. He preferred one side due to the feeding tube being taped on his face and even with physical therapy, fought hard to only lay on one side, up until last month. Due to this, he has an extreme flat spot on one side of his head and needs a helmet to correct ASAP. Helmets are not covered under AHS and we unfortunately do not have the financial means to cover all of the helmet cost. Gratefully, through an organization with the Children’s Hospital, we’ve had 50% of the costs covered.

Although we are embarrassed to ask for help, we are in a position where we are currently unable to cover the costs for the helmet and are reaching out the community for help covering his helmet costs. Anything would be greatly appreciated in helping him receive his helmet.
