Lukas Phillips Memorial

I am Jenny Eagan and I wanted to let you all know our dear friend Emily Egge has lost her beautiful boy Lukas Phillips this past week. He was a very talented, happy, kind, generous and inspiring young man that has gone far too soon. He loved to create music, skateboard, loved tattoos and really really loved people.  I feel very lucky to have gotten to know him for almost 15 years of his life. I know a lot of you have been fortunate as well, if not I am sure you heard Emily talk so lovingly about him. This is a hard time for us all, but to have grieve the loss of your child at any point, is unbearable. 

I know how much Emily means to us all, either through work or friendship, she is always remains rock. Right now she needs us to hold her tight in our hearts when we can't be close or in person. I wanted in some way to send something, but I was having a hard time and I know a lot of you might want to as well. I thought this could help aid her and her family for a memorial they will be planning for him, erecting a bench at the skate park near their home and establishing a scholarship in his name. I will keep everyone updated when I have more information on those details. If you would like to donate in lieu of flowers, or something else, I know Emily will feel so incredibly grateful.
