Please help Luis and his family pull through this challenging time. It was just a normal morning on the road for him heading towards his destination where he can set his love for riding on the track when it was taken from him within a split second by a drunk driver. Now he is fighting for his life while his wife and 3 year old daughter awaiting for him outside a surgery room. His dog, Jax, is also injured and was taken to a nearby veterinary hospital.
He is a very attentive father to his daughter as he gives all his time to make sure she is well loved. His devotion and compassion to being a loving husband and father truly defines who he is.
I have opened this campaign as Luis's friend to help him and his family during this trying time. On behalf of Luis, Ruth his mom, will be the beneficiary of the fund until he is well enough to take over. He is still under sedation and awaiting for a few more surgeries. Ruth will handle all his expenses. She is from New York and stays by his side daily.
Jax is home now under Ruth's care. He also underwent a few surgeries himself. He's recovering smoothly but misses his owner.
I am asking everyone to please help him and his family. Expenses are adding up from hospital bills as he needs further surgeries in the days to come. As well as costs from traveling for his family from the East Coast on a last minute flight to be with him and other unforeseen expenses that may incur.
