Luis-Eduardo Gonzalez Graterol was one of the two young men that got electrocuted at Shark Key on Friday, March 8th. They were finishing up a job at the end of the day and moving an extension ladder that ultimately and accidentally made contact with the high voltage power line. Luis-Eduardo was a family member of ours and he unfortunately passed away.

He just arrived here from Venezuela in November. His brother had found him a job with his former company and was working on creating a better life. Luis-Eduardo was a hard working young man eager to learn, he was kind, humble, loving, funny and family oriented.

We know our town has taken a few hard hits with tragedy after tragedy and we’re just asking for some help to be able to cremate him and send him back to Venezuela to be with his mother and his 7 year old daughter. We’re so very grateful for any help or prayers that we receive.

Luis-Eduardo González Graterol fue uno de los dos jóvenes que fueron electrocutados en Shark Key el viernes 8 de marzo. Estaban terminando un trabajo al final del día y moviendo una escalera de extensión que finalmente y accidentalmente hizo contacto con la línea eléctrica de alto voltaje. Luis-Eduardo era un miembro de nuestra familia y desafortunadamente falleció.

Acaba de llegar aquí desde Venezuela en noviembre. Su hermano le había encontrado un trabajo en su antigua empresa y estaba trabajando para crear una vida mejor. Luis-Eduardo era un joven trabajador y ansioso por aprender, era amable, humilde, cariñoso, divertido y orientado a la familia.

Sabemos que nuestra ciudad ha recibido algunos golpes duros con tragedia tras tragedia y solo estamos pidiendo algo de ayuda para poder cremarlo y enviarlo de vuelta a Venezuela para estar con su madre y su hija de 7 años. Estamos muy agradecidos por cualquier ayuda u oración que recibamos.
