Friends, family as some of you know Luis was involved in a really bad car accident on Saturday, May 26. The impact of the crash was so severe he had to be cut out of his truck by firefighters using the jaws of life because he was wedged stuck. He was then quickly rushed to the nearest emergency room where the doctor's found he sustained some life-threatening injuries that included a  fractured eye socket, 7 fractured ribs, a torn ACL and internal bleeding. Because of the severe state he was in and the fact that the current  ER was not equipped to perform the surgery he needed,  he was life flighted to Ben Taub hospital to have emergency splenectomy for his internal bleeding which resulted in him having his spleen removed that ultimately saved his life. We thank God every day for his miraculous recovery and are truly blessed to still have him here with us. After spending a week in the trauma ICU at the hospital, he is finally home but on a slow road to recovery. We are asking you today for your help due to the fact that he is the sole provider for our little family and does not have any medical insurance. He will also be out of work for at least  4 months or until his doctor's say otherwise. Medical bills have already begun to come in and he still has many more doctor appointments for further surgeries that he might need.
 At the moment we don’t have an exact figure of funds needed and they could go up, but this would be a great start... every little bit helps, thank you. We truly appreciate all the prayers as well as everyone that has come to visit or has called to check up on him. We couldn't have asked for a greater support system.
