Luis Suffers Aortic Dissection & Needs our Help
Donation protected
Luis is known to his family, friends, and coworkers as a hard worker, the first person to help, a jokester, a food enthusiast, a kind, and sweet soul. Throughout covid, he has been a vital asset for the patients and the families as he did his job as a registered nurse on the covid units. At times, he worked both day shift and night shift back to back always filling in where people were needed. Now he needs you.
On February 24, 2022 Luis suffered an Aortic Dissection requiring open-heart surgery. Due to the severity of his illness, many parts of his body underwent incredible stress. His lungs required ventilator support; his kidneys needed continuous dialysis; and his legs lost circulation, which required additional operations and will continue to require several procedures. Today, Luis finally leaves the ICU and continues his path towards recovery. However, his future will be filled with physical, mental, and financial struggles due to the continuing incurring costs of his care. He has many obstacles to overcome and, at 29, does not have the financial security to cover all of this.
On behalf of the Flores family, we are asking for donations and prayers to help support Luis’s rehabilitation. No amount is too small, and any support in the form of donations or prayers will be greatly appreciated by Luis and his family. Luis has always been the first person to help someone else and the last person to ask for help. There is no way he will be able to do this without our help. We’re all hoping the financial assistance we provide will help ease the burden on Luis and his family so they can solely focus on his recovery.
