My dear mother has suffered a loss no parent should have to endure.  On Tuesday, August 7th her 19-year-old son was shot multiple times while traveling through the city of Oxnard, CA. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. This is the worst way of losing a child. A mother should never have to endure a death like this. He was such a kind, smart, and sweet boy. He had the best grades in High School and wanted to study criminology. Now, he can’t do that. Now his mother has to live with the pain of loosing a child.

Danelia (our mother), the victims mother, has had to climb mountains with the difficulties she has faced in life over the past few years and not once did she ever say "why me" or complain that life was unfair. Luis was her world and so are her other 6 kids. 

I am hoping to raise funds to help with the cost of funeral expenses.

Please help in any way you can. If you can't donate money, in the spirit of Luis do something good for another person. Do a random act of kindness, pet a dog, buy coffee for a stranger, give a kid a smile, help an elder cross the street, etc.
