Luis Peralta and Family

Our dear friend Luis has been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic bone cancer and will no longer be able to work to provide for his family while undergoing treatment to prolong his life. After an initial surgery to remove just one of the cancerous lesions, Luis is recovering in bed and only able to walk with the assistance of a walker.

Many of you will recognize Luis as the baker at River Road Hot Bagels in Fair Lawn NJ, a position he has held for nearly 20 years. Luis is known not only for his talents at the oven, but also for his work ethic, humor, charm, and kindness. He is a community staple and truly a one of a kind human being.

Luis is the father of 6 children, 2 of whom have not yet graduated high school.

It goes without saying that Luis' diagnosis is a serious one. We, as his friends, family, and coworkers ask that you pray for a miracle for this man and his family.
