Luis M. Rodriguez "Yillo" Medical Needs

Greetings to all, 

I hope this message finds you well despite the current state of our country and world. Amidst everything going on, my dear uncle Luis M. Rodriguez "Yillo" has been undergoing a very difficult time in his life. As most of the family members are aware, Yillo suffers from chronic diabetes that has become increasingly more complicated. During the past few months, he has undergone 5 surgeries to amputate his toes and parts of his left foot. Yillo is currently still recovering from these surgeries and is physically limited in his mobilities.

In addition to this, the government assistance that he's used to receiving, was taken away from him at the beginning of this year and he has fallen behind on rent. Yillo's health is becoming more complicated as time progresses and he will require more medical attention moving forward, including paying for medics that are not currently covered by his insurance. I am reaching out to the family members and friends of the Rodriguez-Torres and the De La Rosa family for support during this time. We are kindly asking for your support. Anything will be helpful! Espero que este mensaje los encuentre bien a pesar del estado actual de nuestro país y del mundo. En medio de todo lo que esta sucediendo, mi querido tío Luis M. Rodríguez "Yillo" esta pasando por un momento muy difícil en su vida. Como la mayoría de los miembros de la familia saben, Yillo sufre de diabetes crónica que se ha vuelto cada vez más complicada. Durante los últimos meses, se sometió a 5 cirugías para amputarle los dedos de los pies y partes del pie izquierdo. Actualmente, Yillo todavía se está recuperando de estas cirugías y tiene limitaciones físicas en su movilidad.

Además de esto, la asistencia del gobierno que él está acostumbrado a recibir le fue quitada a principios de este año y se ha atrasado en el alquiler. Por último, la salud de Yillo se ha vuelto más complicada a medida que pasa el tiempo y él necesitará más atención médica de ahora en adelante, incluido el pago de médicos que actualmente no están cubiertos por su seguro. Le escribo este mensaje a los miembros y amigos de las familias Rodríguez-Torres y De La Rosa en busca de apoyo durante este tiempo.
