Hi everyone, my name is Cristina Corrales, niece of Luis and Emma Gomar. I am organizing this fundraiser on their behalf. All donations will go directly to Emma and Luis’ bank account.

 

As many of you know Luis Gomar had a terrible fall causing 2 shoulder fractures, fractures on left wrist, and fracture in lower lumbar. He was hospitalized for about one month then was transferred to a Nursing Rehabilitation Home to continue his recovery.

 

Sadly, Luis had another fall. He was moved facilities and during this time his sensory and cognitive abilities declined. He is experiencing memory loss and problems speaking. On October 13th he had a high fever and returned back to the hospital. He is being treated for a fungal infection and will have an MRI on October 22nd.

 

Once he is cleared of infection he will be transferred back to Nursing Home to continue recovery. Insurance does not cover 100%. Insurance has a co-payment of $75 per day, for a maximum of 80 days while in Nursing Home. Your support will help pay for medical bills.
