Luis Fernando Escobar

Dear Donors,

On behalf of the Escobar family, we plead for your help. Luis Fernandez Escobar Gonzalez (25) was in a fatal car crash on Malibu Canyon Road in the early hours of October 9, 2023. He was on his way home from working a double shift at Geoffrey's restaurant in Malibu when he went off the road and struck a utility pole, tragically ending his life.

Always happy and jovial, everybody loved Luis. He was an incredible loving and caring human being with the most contagious laugh. His big, strong stature was only overpowered by his love for friends and family. He recently discovered a passion for surfing and daily practiced his new sport; finding direction and sanctuary in the ocean. He left a huge imprint on all our hearts and we miss him dearly.

Luis leaves behind his cherished mother, little brother, and family who need all of our help during this difficult time to raise money for funeral expenses in order to transport his body back home to Guatemala to reside in the family burial plot. Please, keep Luis and his family in your prayers. Any and all donations are much appreciated.
