Luis Bailón Santa Cruz

It is with such a heavy heart that I create this GoFundMe account to help cover the funeral costs for my baby: Luis Bailon Santa Cruz.

All donations will go directly to his family to help alleviate some of the burden, while we work together to plan a beautiful Memorial Service in his honor.

Luis was an amazing man with the most beautiful soul & loved by so many. Anyone who knew him, knew he was always so positive, self-motivated, hard-working & a true Oakland native, he was always so prideful of being from Oakland (he always had to represent everywhere we went!). He had worked extremely hard to get to where he was in life, from working at Conco to his most recent career switch working for the City of Newark. He was the happiest I had ever seen him & he was well on his way up within the company, as he had just passed his Class A license at DMV (written portion) & had just started his Class A schooling last week, he was so excited about how promising his future looked in all aspects of life & we were all extremely proud of all his accomplishments. We were the happiest we had ever been, until the night of November 16, 2023, our lives changed forever. I am at a loss for words to even begin to explain how devastating this unexpected loss has been for all of us.

Thank you to everyone that has reached out to myself and/or his family during this very difficult time, we are still trying to process this huge loss. He was so young and full of life, his passing has left a huge void in all of our hearts.
