Luis Acuna and Family

With great sadness in our hearts, we reach out to our wrestling families and friends to come together to support the Acunas during this unimaginably difficult time. No amount of money can fill the void that will forever be there now that Luis is gone, but it will allow Heather to focus on the needs of her family and home in the very tough days ahead.

Luis Acuna was a constant light in any room that he stepped foot into; he made his presence known. Most of our children, and ourselves cannot picture a wrestling practice or tournament without him in the room; stalking the mats, giving words of advice, and encouraging everyone around him. Luis made sure that he made a connection with everyone. He extended a handshake or gave the greatest bear hugs. Luis was one of the most genuine people amongst us. He truly wanted what was in the best interest of everyone. His faith in God, his passion for wrestling and the children he coached were undeniable. We can only imagine what his absence will feel like at RWA, but we cannot begin to fathom the effects of his absence at home. Please keep Heather, Luis Jr., Jaa, Zavier, and Tino in your thoughts and prayers!

With that, please consider contributing anything that your family can to help the Acuna family lighten the load that has been brought upon them at this time.
