Texting and driving equals disaster

This is a sad story about to very loving people who had their lives changed forever by the negligence of someone who couldn't put thier phone down while driving. On May 11,2013  my best friend and her husband were on their way to a benefit for a fellow co-worker who was diagnosed with cancer but they never made it. While on their way another driver was texting and driving and ran a red light and crashed right into Paul and Trish's car. So they ended up in the hospital instead of the benefit. The other driver was fine.
Since then Paul has had back and neck surgery and is in pain everyday. Trish has had neck surgery and has other complications from the accident. They haven't been able to work for two years and have bills piling up! Their house is in foreclosure for the second time and they have 30 days to come up with the money or they are on the street with four amazing animal and  beautiful daughter. They are also being sued from credit card companies for non payment but how can you pay your bills if you can't work, but I'm sure the girl driving while texting goes to work everyday. They applied for help from various agencies and were either turned down or told to reapply in 6 months . I have tried to help my best friend out when I can but I cant get them out of foreclosure and I am trying any means possible to help them, that is what bought me to this sight. This accident was in no way their fault and the have been paying a huge price for it. I really wish people would realize how dangerous texting and driving is and just put down the phone! It's not worth it! Paul and Trish are the type of people that would always help you out if they could and now it's my turn to try and help them out! I can't imagine losing a buisness that Paul worked so hard to establish due to someone else's stupidity and now they are being dropped from their insurance. Just when you think it can't get any worse unfortunetly for them somehow it does. Please help them to get back on their feet.
