Lucy's Nepal Expedition 2025

Hi, my name is Lucy. I'm fundraising for a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit Nepal next year, as part of a group of 20 students selected. We will be participating in the exploration of colourful bazaars, street life and temples in Kathmandu, as well as a safari trip where there will be a chance to see rhinos and elephants. Although, the most important reason for this trip is the chance to volunteer within Shubhakamana School teaching local children English. This is so important to me because I won't be the only one to benefit from this experience; this opportunity also has the possibility to change the lives of children in Nepal who don't have these same chances as me. This is due to the fact that although the school is dedicated to providing a quality education to these children, resources are limited and they rely heavily on volunteers, meaning we have the chance to make a difference to their education. In order for me to go on this experience, I have to fundraise £2600. I am also continuing to fundraise in other ways including busking and selling illustrations I have made, but any donations to this amazing opportunity is highly appreciated. Thank you, Lucy Eastwood.
