My name is Lucy, and I'm a trans masc non-binary person. I'm getting Top Surgery later this year!!!! This is a huge step towards aligning my physical body with my true self, and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity. This huge step does come at a cost though, with surgeon fees of $12,000 and anesthesia fees of $4,000, the process will cost me approximately $15,000 - $16,000.

I have struggled with my identity and gender dysphoria for most of my life and am finally starting to discover who I am as opposed to who I was expected to be growing up.

Now, as I embrace my authentic identity, I am moving forward with top surgery. However, as many of you may know, medical procedures, especially those related to gender affirmation, can come with a hefty price tag. Even with insurance coverage, there are still significant out-of-pocket expenses.

That's why I'm reaching out to all of you for support. I'm trying to save for half of the overall costs, and your generosity will help cover the other half of the cost of the surgery itself, as well as pre and post-operative care, travel expenses, and any unforeseen medical costs that may arise.
