I was sat watching fellow club members run the London marathon on TV last year, when I impulsively decided to enter the ballot. Somehow I managed to get a in.

As I only ever ran 3 half marathons this will be a massive challenge for me so I have decided to try to raise some money for a charity very close to mine and my family’s heart.

I will be running the London marathon in memory of my sister Lauren and raising money for Sands (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society).
