Lucretia Huhn's Road to Recovery

On the morning of October 28th, Lucretia was on her way to work at the hospital when she was involved in a tragic car accident. She was air lifted from the scene and taken to a trauma hospital in the city. She has an extensive list of injuries and is going to need several surgeries. She remains stable, but in critical condition. She has a very long road ahead of her.

To anyone that knows Lu, you know what an amazing person she is. She has the biggest heart and the best pranks. She is thoughtful, kind, smart, and hilarious. Always knows how to put a smile on your face, even with her cheesy jokes. She has so much love in her heart for her new husband, Bill. She always puts her family (and pups) first. Not a day goes by she isn't hanging with her parents, brother, sister in law, or her niece and nephew. She is hands down one of the best, most compassionate nurse's I know. Lu has been a critical care nurse for over 10 years.

Lu has an ARMY behind her and we all know what a fighter she is! During this tremendous period of grief and uncertainty, we want to be able to help her and her family in whatever ways we can. I'm hoping that this fundraiser can help to alleviate some of the stress of paying medical bills and lost wages.
