Help Lucrecia on her fight for life and healing ❤️‍

We’re reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support and prayers for our beloved sister and daughter, Alba Lucrecia Cruz, who is courageously battling a life-threatening liver disease caused by a rare hereditary condition.

Despite enduring ongoing medical challenges for many years, Lucrecia has never let go of her love for life. She has continued to work, smile, and give generously to those around her.

But now, for the first time, she truly needs our help.

Lucrecia’s condition has progressed to the final stages of liver failure, and she urgently needs a liver transplant to survive. After enduring multiple hospitalizations over the past year, she was placed on the transplant waiting list. Her journey has been filled with emotional highs and heartbreaking lows—but she keeps her spirits hight and keep fighting.

Just couple days ago, her long-awaited surgery was scheduled to take place at USC-Keck Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. Sadly, the donor liver was found to be incompatible. Lucrecia must now return home to Las Vegas and continue the agonizing wait for another chance at life.

This journey has placed an overwhelming emotional, physical, and financial burden on Lucrecia and our family. Living in Las Vegas, she must travel out of state for this life-saving transplant. Prior to this, she has undergone countless treatments, doctor visits, and extended hospital stays—each adding to a growing pile of medical bills.

Your donations will help pay for:

The cost of temporary lodging in Los Angeles after the Transplant.

Travel expenses for herself and a caregiver

Living expenses( loss of income) 

Copayments and out-of-pocket medical costs not covered by insurance

Caregiver expenses during her healing process after transplant, needs to have a 24/7 caregiver for 3-6 months.

While insurance helps cover a portion of her treatment, the uncovered costs are far more than she can manage alone.

Hola- Nos dirigimos a ustedes con humildad para pedir su apoyo para nuestra querida hermana e hija Alba Lucrecia Cruz, quien está luchando valientemente contra una enfermedad del Hígado potencialmente mortal causada por una rara condición hereditaria.

Apesar de estar gravemente enferma Lucrecio siguió trabajando, sonriendo y dando a los demás, siempre con fuerza, compasión y un corazón generoso.

Pero ahora, por primera vez, ella necesita nuestra ayuda.

La condición de Lucrecia ha progresado hasta llegar a las etapas finales de una insuficiencia hepática. Después de múltiples hospitalizaciones en el último año, finalmente fue incluida en la lista de espera para un trasplante de Higado. Este camino ha estado lleno de altibajos, y su fortaleza a lo largo de todo ha sido verdaderamente admirable.

Su cirugía estaba programada para realizarse hoy en el Hospital USC-Keck en Los Ángeles, CA. Lamentablemente, el hígado donado no resultó ser compatible. Como consecuencia, Lucrecia debe regresar ahora a Las Vegas y continuar con la difícil espera de otra oportunidad.

Este proceso ha tenido un impacto emocional, físico y financiero inmenso para ella y nuestra familia. Viviendo en Las Vegas, Lucrecia ahora enfrenta la carga adicional de tener que viajar fuera del estado para recibir un trasplante que le salve la vida. Antes de esto, ya había soportado innumerables tratamientos, visitas médicas y hospitalizaciones — cada uno sumando más a la creciente pila de facturas médicas.

Además de estos costos en aumento, también enfrentamos los gastos de alojamiento temporal en Los Ángeles y la pérdida de ingresos durante su período de recuperación. Aunque el seguro cubre una parte de los gastos médicos, los costos restantes superan con creces lo que podemos afrontar por nuestra cuenta.

• Facturas médicas pendientes y copagos no cubiertos por el seguro

• Pérdida de ingresos durante el tratamiento y la recuperación

• Gastos de viajes

• Alojamiento prolongado cerca del hospital en Los Ángeles para Lucrecia
