Hi friends and family, on Saturday May 10, 2025, I was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at St. Michaels Hospital by ambulance. I received emergency brain surgery for a ruptured brain aneurysm, to stop the bleeding in my brain. The procedure was an endovascular repair to my brain, using a coil. Whilst in I.C.U. the doctors discovered that I am also suffering from ammonia. Although I am recovering well, I am still bed bound in the Intensive Care Unit. Unfortunately, I do not have any medical coverage for medication outside the hospital. I also do not have any coverage to pay my rent and bills after today. Although I have signed on for E.I. sickness benefit through the government, it will take approximately 4 weeks to process and I will only receive 50% of my income for 11 weeks. I am asking if anyone could kindly contribute to my Go Fund Me, to lessen the worry of not being able to pay my rent of $2750 on June 01, 2025 (next month). I am likely to still be in hospital by then. Any funds raised over the fundraising goal will be used towards the cost of any medical expenses and the cost of living expenses, whilst being in receipt of E.I.

Many Thanks

Lucinda
