Lucille’s Catering Needs Your Help

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

Four months ago, we embarked on an exciting journey to bring our culinary dreams to life by leasing our own catering kitchen. We found a space that we thought would be perfect, signed the lease, and began the process of turning it into a hub where we could create delicious meals and share our passion for food with the community.

However, what seemed like the perfect kitchen turned into a daunting challenge. Shortly after signing the lease, we discovered that the kitchen was not up to code. The space that we believed was ready to be transformed into our dream kitchen required extensive upgrades and renovations to meet the necessary health and safety standards. These were issues that we did not anticipate, and they have put a significant strain on our resources.

The costs of bringing the kitchen up to code have been overwhelming. We've had to navigate through unexpected expenses, including new equipment, plumbing, electrical work, and other essential modifications. Every day, we're working hard to overcome these obstacles, but the financial burden has become too great for us to bear alone.

We've already been blessed with nearly $4,000 in donations, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us so far. Your generosity has kept our dream alive and has brought us closer to our goal. But the reality is, we still have a long way to go.

Our original fundraising goal was $55,000, which would cover all the necessary improvements including replacing the vent hood, the water heater, upgrading the electricity, purchasing a commercial refrigerator and freezer, (just to name a few) which would help us finally open our doors. With your continued support, we know we can make this happen. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making our dream a reality. Whether it's $5, $50, or $500, your contribution will directly impact our ability to create a safe and functional kitchen.
