Lucille Goose the tripawd cat has been suddenly diagnosed with kidney failure following a scary veterinary emergency.
Lucy was admitted to hospital on Friday, April 24th 2026 with concerning symptoms. She hadn't kept food down in 24hrs and she LOVES her food.
Initially she was treated for constipation, a possible complication from the accident where she lost her leg. It was decided that the best treatment would be a laxative, enemas and fluids. She spent Saturday night in the ICU and was cleared in the morning and sent home to recover.
But 48hrs later she was still sick, experiencing horrible diarrhea and was incredibly lethargic. Rushed back to the hospital testing showed that her kidneys were failing at only 6 years old. She has been in ICU since Tuesday, April 28th and hasn't been able to come home yet.
Her Momma and Daddy are doing their best to collect the pennies needed to provide her with the care she deserves, but the emergency hospital bills are adding up faster than they can handle.
Funds raised here will help cover her time in the ICU where she is receiving life saving care. Estimates for her care range from $3500 to over $7000. Every penny helps.
