Lucia's Battle Against Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

I am starting this Go Fund Me for one of my best friends, Lucia Brown, and her family. Lucia has been battling a rare form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for almost two years now, while her husband Seth, and daughters, Robin and Erica, have been by her side every step of the way. Anyone who is lucky enough to know Lucia, knows she is an incredible wife, mother, friend, teacher and so much more.

 

Lucia was diagnosed with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma in November 2020, four months after her symptoms started. She reached remission in March of 2021 after four months of extensive chemotherapy. She went into the hospital for an Autologous Stem Cell transplant, but unfortunately relapsed in February 2022. Once again, she went into remission after more Chemo and infusions. To ensure the cancer doesn’t come back, she is currently in the hospital undergoing an allogenic stem cell transplant (from a donor) and will be in recovery for the next few months.

 

While we can’t speed up her recovery, we can help to ease some of the financial burdens that this amazing family has had to endure. Thank you for helping in any way you can.
