In Memory of Luciano “Lucci” Anthony Donovan

My name is Caroline and I’m devastated to be organizing this fundraiser for my best friend of 15+ years, Gabrielle Aguiar.

On Saturday, September 23rd 2023, Gabby’s entire world came crashing down on her. She went to check on her sleeping baby boy, and he was gone. She performed CPR on his tiny body until help arrived but there was nothing they could do. Every parent’s worse nightmare and greatest fear. Imagine the soul-crushing wails of a new mom and new dad unable to accept the loss of their precious sweet baby that was so wanted and so loved.

I had my baby a couple months ago, Gabby and I were pregnant together and I’ve been crying and shaking since I heard the news. I cannot begin to comprehend the pain my friends are in. I’m absolutely sick to my stomach.

She recently bought a house and for obvious reasons, she can’t stay there. Every room is filled with memories of their baby. She is currently in a hotel and she will have to rent a house until she can sell her house and buy a new one.

I don’t know how to help other than trying to alleviate the financial burden so she can grieve in peace. Please help me help my best friend.

The money raised will go directly to Gabby, and it will be used towards a beautiful service for Baby Lucci, renting a new home, and paying bills so they can grieve in peace without having to go back to work.

Gabby’s birthday is on September 25th.
