Lucia's Cancer Fight
Donation protected
It's been five years since Lucia received her Carcinoid Syndrome diagnosis and the news that she had only 18 months left. Despite the challenges, we've had more precious time with her thanks to two rounds of Proton Beam Therapy, which wasn't available on the NHS and was only possible through the incredible generosity of people like you.
We're so grateful for every donation and share that helped make that happen.
Now, there's a new hope on the horizon: genome therapy. This groundbreaking treatment could give Lucia even more time with us, to watch our children, Zack (now 24) and Chloe (now 17) grow up. The therapy is likely to take place in Germany, and once again, we're facing significant travel expenses that aren't covered by insurance.
We're reaching out again to ask for your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us get Lucia to Germany and closer to this potentially life-changing treatment. Even if you can't donate, sharing this GoFundMe link with your network would mean the world to us.
Thank you for being a part of Lucia's journey. Your kindness and generosity continue to give us hope.
