Celebrando la vida de una mujer extraordinaria

Mi abuela fue una fuerza de la naturaleza: radiante, valiente y llena de vida Iluminaba cada espacio con su risa, sus historias y su amor incondicional.

Su camino no fue fácil. Ella enfrentó el cáncer de mama, padecimientos reumatológicos, y en sus últimos años sufrió de demencia. Al contrario, las superó con una gracia y una fortaleza que nos enseñaron lo que significa resistir. Su fuerza era silenciosa pero firme, y su compasión no tenía límites.

Ahora que nos toca despedirnos, queremos hacerlo con la dignidad que ella merece. Estamos recaudando fondos para cubrir los gastos de su cremación y memorial, y así poder celebrar su vida como se merece: con amor, respeto y gratitud.

Los fondos recaudados se destinarán directamente a cubrir los gastos de la cremación de mi abuela y a ayudar a nuestra familia a viajar de regreso a Ecuador, donde la sepultaremos en el cementerio junto a sus seres queridos. Para nosotros es muy importante que ella regrese al lugar que siempre llamó hogar, rodeada de los recuerdos y las personas que más amó.

My grandmother was a force of nature: radiant, resilient, and full of life. She lit up every room she entered with her laughter, her stories, and her unwavering love.

Her journey wasn’t easy. She faced breast cancer, arthritis and in her last years she suffered from dementia. Instead, she rose above them with grace and grit, teaching us all what it means to persevere. Her strength was quiet but fierce, and her compassion knew no bounds.

Now, as we prepare to say goodbye, we want to honor her with the dignity she deserves. We’re raising funds to cover the cost of her cremation and memorial, so we can celebrate her life in a way that reflects the beauty she brought into ours.
