Hello everyone My name is Carol my family and I have been battling with a terrible monster for four years now, and that monster has turned into stage 4 cancer for my dad. It’s been years of pain, suffering, tears and aside from all that prayers. Praying to god that our dad stays with us longer. We tried so hard to get our dad a visa so that he can get better treatments here in the United States but it was denied. The treatments in my country aren’t as advanced as they are here, and the chances of fighting this disease are really low. Day by day my dad is getting worse and it seems like he’s strength is slowly decreasing. At this moment he has pulmonary cancer, metastasis in the head, and he’s a diabetic. I need to transfer my dad to a private hospital where he will get the treatment he needs. Three weeks ago we transferred him to St. Jorge which is a private hospital, but because of financial need we had to transfer him out. A lot of people that know my dad and have gotten a chance to meet him, know that my dad is a good man and has always fought for his family. Nos esforzamos tanto por conseguirle una visa a nuestro padre para que pudiera obtener mejores tratamientos aquí en los Estados Unidos, pero fue denegada. Los tratamientos en mi país no son tan avanzados como aquí, y las posibilidades de combatir esta enfermedad son realmente bajas. Día a día mi papá está empeorando y parece que su fuerza está disminuyendo lentamente. En este momento tiene cáncer de pulmón, metástasis en la cabeza y es diabético. Necesito transferir a mi papá a un hospital privado donde recibirá el tratamiento que necesita. Hace tres semanas lo transferimos a St. Jorge, que es un hospital privado, pero debido a la necesidad financiera tuvimos que transferirlo. Muchas personas que conocen a mi papá y han tenido la oportunidad de conocerlo, saben que mi papá es un buen hombre y siempre ha luchado por su familia.
