Hi Everyone!

My name is Luce!

I found my mom, Bekah and my dad, Matt at the end of summer 2021.

I surprised them by showing up on their porch after they got home from work one day!

I decided that this looked like the home for me.

Even though mom and dad loved me right away, I had to live on their porch for a while before I could get in to see a veterinarian. I was so happy to spend my days following mom and dad around the yard and snuggling on the porch with whoever came over!

They named me Lucy and I thought that name was perfect! They can call my name from anywhere and I come running!

After a month or so it came time for my vet appointment. I got a little car sick but was so excited to meet everyone at the doctor’s office! Mom and dad didn’t know I was keeping a few surprises…

The doctor checked me for a thing called a microchip and, I have one!

My parents called me Lucy thinking I was a sweet old lady and man were they surprised when the doctor told them I am a handsome BOY! Although pronouns don’t mean anything to me. I just liked to be loved!

Some other things my parents learned was that I am FIFTEEN years old! The biggest surprise I had for them is that I am from California!

The phone numbers for my previous owner were disconnected and the email address didn’t work anymore. So mom and dad left their information with the microchip company just in case they ever come looking for me.

After testing negative for all the contagious kitty things my parents took me home to live with my brothers Greg, and Eric.

I absolutely love my life in my home. I sleep on comfy blankets and beds and eat all I could ever imagine! Oh and I also have my dad trained with a very strict snuggling schedule!

I am here today to ask for some help from all you friends!

My parents found out that I have a realllly bad thyroid and am in need of surgery ASAP.

The doctor lady ran a bunch of tests and it turns out I am SUPER healthy for a 15 year old babe and she thinks I will handle surgery just fine!

Mom and Dad want to get me fixed up as soon as possible so they can have several more years snuggling me.

Surgery and vet bills are expensive and are more than my parents are able to afford.

If anyone is able to help out with $5 or even $10 to help get me this important surgery, we would all thank you forever!
