Hi! My name is Lola Jacobson-Cary and I live in Northern California. I'm 45, widowed, and terminally ill due to my heart condition. I have a 10-year-old Chihuahua named Luccianna (Lucci). We've been through a lot the last few years. We lived with my sister until she passed unexpectedly. Landlords, my in-laws, sold the house, and so we had to move. We had a travel trailer until someone stole it and in the process damaged the roof. The second time it wasn't recovered. Me and Lucci stay primarily in our vehicle or at a friend's now, but the friend can't have us continue to stay much longer. I had a place in April until in June code enforcement said the units on the second floor were not supposed to have been rented, and to keep from getting in trouble, 29 units, 29+ people, were kicked to the streets that same day. Back to the car... My car broke down, and so we occasionally stay with a friend. Lucci stays more so not to be in the elements. I've been in and out of the hospital with fluid on my lungs and my right ventricle now functioning at approximately 20%, the left side is less. My breathing keeps getting worse. Everything keeps getting worse. I need to find a place for me and my little dog, but down payments are high. I finally was able to get a good car a few weeks ago, but this past Wednesday it was stolen, and the cops are not very helpful. I've been trying to find it myself, mostly on foot, and I've overdone myself. We have a good idea of its approximate location thanks to people who've seen something, but if it's not found, I'm gonna have to figure a way to get another car because I'm very sick and can't take walking too far anymore and I have a lot of appointments to go to.
I'm asking for assistance in helping me get enough funds for a place and an inexpensive used car or even a small motorhome or something. Thank you!
