Support Lucas Burns Battle vs Cancer
Thank you for your interest in supporting Lucas Burns battle versus cancer. Lucas was diagnosed with cancer in January 2020. After undergoing immediate surgery and chemotherapy treatment at Mercyhealth in Janesville, he was gearing up to continue the fight with a new treatment plan and a lot of hope and optimism.
Lucas learned in May that the cancer had spread to his brain and he was considering alternatives including surgery and radiation. On Wednesday, May 20, he suffered a setback when a brain tumor hemorrhaged. He was rushed to the ER in Janesville and quickly sent via Airlift Medflight to UW Hospital in Madison. After stabalizing his condition overnight, the next day Dr. Mustafa Baskaya performed emergency brain surgery and successfully removed both bleeding tumors. Lucas is stable and recovering at UW Hospital, making progress every day with his family by his side.
It's hard for many of us to know what to do, especially during these unusual times, with COVID-19 visitor limitations and other restrictions in place. This page is for the countless number that are looking for some way to support their friend Lucas. The funds will go towards medical expenses.
