Lucas's fight

This is Lucas.

He's  currently a Grade 9 student at Theriault High School who's trying to finish off the year just like everyone else.

Unlike everyone else on April 28th, 2020 Lucas was diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkin's lymphoma. (I mean what else can friggen happen in 2020)

At just 14 years of age, this proud brother of his 3 sisters, role model to an additional sister and 2 brothers, dedicated local air cadet, and straight A student has had a mountain of a challenge fall onto him that i wouldn't wish upon anyone.

In speaking with mother Ashley ( Jeff Deschatelets) she's ensured me that his spirits are high, and although he can't enjoy the outdoors quite as he use to, he's been passing his time with friends on fortnite.

Now anyone who knows me, also knows that Go fund me isn't  my thing.
I put  on events. Thats how i generally raise money. I've hosted several local concerts  for various people, usually children, who are in similar situations. But as of right now this isn't an option, and this family could use some community love.

Lucas's current regiment is 2 weeks in either Sudbury (hopefully) or Toronto at sick kids, then 1 week home. He has 3 cycles to complete, before follow up appointments can be had  to reevaluate, and figure out a long term game plan.

As you can imagine for a family of 6, trying to juggle this, as well as the current covid crisis, this can be quite a task.
