Lucas Sunshine Gago Flores came into our lives 3 ½ years ago. And he has blessed our family's home ever since. He has been an emotional support dog for both my children who have experienced trauma. Lucas has helped my daughter Mia especially with her anxiety and even learning how to read just by letting her snuggle up with him when she was feeling frustrated. He has gotten all of us, myself, my son Xavier, and Mia through our sad and stressful times, and has brought us nothing but happiness. He has kept our home safe, and has been the best hiking partner I’ve had. Lucas brought joy and love into our lives!

So when I was hit with surgery $10-$15k or euthanize….. I knew I couldn’t let him go. His life has just started, I couldn’t, I can’t, let Xavier and Mia lose their dog. Their brother.
