On July 26, 2018, two short weeks ago, Wayne and Vicky Miers lost their 6 year old boy, Lucas, from a tragic tractor accident. His passing has changed their lives forever.

Vicky, my childhood best friend of 28 years and her husband Wayne whom I've known and been friends with for nearly as long, have always been a constant in my life when mine was always chaos. God has used them in my life over these 28 years to shape me into the Christian I am today. I'd like to be used by God now to help them in their greatest time of need.

My family is heading back to visit them in Kentucky for Labor Day weekend. Our hope is to bless them with a generous sum of money that they could use specifically for the purchase of plane tickets. As many know their family is large! This would allow for them to come to California, or for out of state family to visit them.

This won't bring Lucas back, but having family near would help bare their burden. I'd like to humbly ask that you would you please consider giving to help make this possible?

Let us (the body of believers) show our love to them in a very tangible way. Philippians 2:4 - Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
