Hi, I’m starting a go fund me for one of my best friends Jessica & her son Lucas.

On Tuesday, following a routine eye appointment, Lucas was sent to the IWK for an MRI due to pressure behind the eye. That day that were given the most devastating news that he has a brain tumor. On Thursday, he went in for a 19 hour surgery, and thankfully it was removed.

They are in Halifax at the IWK, unsure of how long they will be there and waiting for updates and starting the healing process. Lucas will be out of school for an undetermined amount of time, and his mother will be off work for the same.

At this point, with so many uncertainties, anything can help towards ensuring they have some of the financial burden taken off them as bills still come during times like this.

I will update the post as we get more information.
