Luca's Journey: Help This Kitten Walk on Three Legs

This is Luca! We rescued her along with her mother and two sisters 5 weeks ago, and estimate her to be roughly 8-9 weeks old now. We believe she was born Paraplegic, but is to young for an MRI to confirm. So she drags her legs behind her at all times which has also made her incontinent. She has been to the vet 4 times now leading to what is now going to be an amputation of her left back leg.

Now, this last week during our routine physical therapy to help improve her mobility, I realized I could not move and rotate her back left leg anymore. After a visit to the vet, it turns out she has broken her leg at the growth plate. The vet has recommended the amputation of her back left leg. After we heard this, we decided to keep her permanently to ensure she gets the best love and care she can.

My partner Natalie and I (Cody) would appreciate any and all help as a way to help pay her medical bills since we have now spent over $2k just for her, along with getting her a proper fitting wheel chair once she is recovered. And to also pay for the multiple follow-up appointments and complications that may arise.

We are setting our goal for $3k, and would greatly appreciate any donation to help cover her medical bills that just keep rising. Regardless of how much we have to spend on her, we will, to ensure she can live the happiest and healthiest life she can. We are not giving up on her, she has plenty of life to live!
